40th Street, Manhattan

    Central Park

  • The Central Park Loop has a designated bike lane at all times.
  • Weekends & holidays Central Park is car-free.
  • During car-free hours drives are opened to pedestrians & bicyclists.
  • Car traffic is allowed on the West side of the park weekday mornings from 7-10am, the East side of the park weekday afternoons from 3-7pm, and on 72nd St Cross Drive weekdays 7am to 7pm.

    Prospect Park Hours

  • The Prospect Park Loop has a designated bike lane at all times.
  • Weekends & holidays Prospect Park is car-free.
  • During car-free hours drives are opened to pedestrians & bicyclists.
  • Car traffic is allowed on the East side of the park weekdays from 7-9am & 5-7pm and on the West side of the park weekday afternoons from 5-7pm.
