Hello,
This is not on-topic for your post, but I’m not sure where best to put this question-
I’m a researcher at Columbia, looking at the effects of bike routes on health. I’m searching for a 1999, 2000, and/or 2001 NYC bike map. I hear rumors that there wasn’t a map made in 2000, so the surrounding years would be fine.
I would just need to scan it, don’t need to keep it. I know this is a hard thing to come by so any help would be much appreciated! If you have or know someone who has a copy of these maps, or if you have any ideas on where I could find them, I would love to hear from you.
Thanks much!
caitlin
It seems like everyone everywhere is having some kind of mountain bike festival or race this month! Fall is definitely a great time to get out and ride and to celebrate mountain biking before the snow falls and the days get too short.

It seems like the boys and girls from Wisconsin are finally getting hip to the biking scene out west and realize the need for a test facility near rad dirt. Hopefully the new facility will end Trek’s recent lack of exciting new MTB products. Watch out Cannondale, I think you may have awakened the sleeping giant!

I’m gonna go for a ride this Saturday with a friend from Queens (Astoria) to Brooklyn (Prospect Park). Can anyone suggest a good route?
Good information, thanks for the post!
You can call 311 and get a free map of the bike routs of NYC.
Great posting. Loved it.
This is a great post. I’ve added to my feed for my users to read as well. Keep up the good work.
Took me time to read all the comments, but I enjoyed the article. Very helpful article! Makes total sense. It’s always nice when you can not only be informed, but also entertained! I’m sure you had fun writing this article.
