About the Ride (from tourdebrooklyn.org):
The 6th annual Tour de Brooklyn is an exciting, 18-mile family-friendly bike tour. The tour will start and end in Williamsburg, with a brief rest stop in Red Hook Park. NYPD will escort the tour as a rolling parade. Riders of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Registration is required; limited day of registration will be available at the Start. Helmets are required for riders age 14 and under, in accordance with the New York State law.The ride makes occasional stops as the NYPD escorts see fit. Please be prepared to stop and ride with caution. All riders will enjoy a brief stop at Red Hook Park where they will receive a light snack and the opportunity to refill their water bottles. Please bring your own water bottle.
