The 5th annual Tour de Brooklyn is an exciting FREE fun family bike tour. The tour will start and end in the Coney Island area with a brief rest stop in Prospect Park. NYPD will escort the tour as a rolling parade. Riders of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate! Registration is required; limited day of registration will be available at the Start. Helmets are required for ages 14 and under.</p>
<p>This year’s tour is very exciting 23-mile ride. The tour kicks off at 9am from Coney Island and rolls through Sunset Park for an exclusive bicycle tour through Green-wood Cemetery! We have a brief rest stop at Prospect Park and then roll south through diverse and beautiful neighborhoods such as Ditmas Park, Bensonhurst, Prospect Park, Flatlands and many more! The ride will wrap up in Coney Island around 1:00 PM.</p></blockquote>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The next Five Boro Bike Tour will take place on Sunday, May 2, 2010.  </p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.bikenewyork.org/rides/fbbt/register.html">Registration will open on Monday, February 1, 2010</a></strong>. Save the date! The 2009 Tour sold out nearly two months in advance, so you have to register quickly in order to get a spot. </p>
<p>New York&#8217;s <a href="http://www.nycbikemaps.com/maps/five-boro-bike-tour-map/" title="5 Boro Bike Tour Route Map"> Five Boro Bike Tour</a> is the largest recreational cycling event in the United States.
